Zitat von Fernando im Beitrag Which are the "best" Intel AHCI/RAID for posting the HardwareIDs. Thanks for the fast reply.here is the original post of the chipsets, and how I got confused. If you can make a accurate judgement off the images I posted earlier then great. If you need me to post the hardware ID's from the e7470 now that it is running in ACHI and there seems to be some confusion (at least on my end) on the actual chipset in this thing, let me know and Ill get them to you as fast as possible. So whatever you think I should try, I willing to do.
All as I know is since the update and whatever new driver I have going at this moment is not as smooth, and doesn't perform as well either.
It would come to workout though as those drivers v14. Instead of making another post I figured.(thinking the e7470 was a intel 100 chipset) use the same recommended drivers that you listed for my XPS.
After preforming a clean install to get rid of some unwanted bloatware I switched to ACHI since I saw no reason to run RAID when there is only 1 active storage slot in a e7470. One thing I noticed immediately was that when I posted those ID's I had my Latitude in RAID mode. Hey I just looked back on the post when I gave you my 2 devices Hardware ID's. I have attached two images of the event log, one with the (iaStorA) highlighted, and the other with (iaahcic.inf) so you can see the notes, and information. Would you suggest downloading the recommended drivers for that chipset and trying to install them manually? Or do you think I should confirm the chipset and then go from there? Is there something wrong with the driver installed as a whole, being as the iaStorA device is being listed as "Not Started" However if I have my latitude chipset incorrect then I must go back to your recommended drivers for the x99. I've since then turned off automatic update. After performing a clean install awhile back ago, I think I forgot to turn off the automatic update. I believe windows must have done it automatically with an update. I know that XPS says 100/230 chipset series. I honestly thought it had that chipset, because I thought that is what you told me when I've listed my device ID's for both systems(Latitude e7470 & XPS 15 9550)awhile back. Thanks in advance, and hope to hear from you soon.
I know that if anyone can help this issue, it would be you. A quick google search did not give me anything of note to go on.
I've noticed that the computer doesn't run bad or anything, but doesn't quite have the same read/write speeds, and this could be my imagination, but slightly slower BIOS start-up. If you need any further information, or anything else, to help better give a solution, obviously I'd be happy to get you whenever you need to get this remedied. I have attached an image of the events log that I'm referring to, as well as the properties>driver version. However, if this is not correct and something has gone wrong, I was wondering if you have any suggestions or information to get it corrected. If this is normal please forgive me for this post. Being as this is one of the main names for the Intel drivers I saw this to be a cause for concern. has recorded that the iaStorA the device has not been started. After noticing I started looking into it, and saw the DM>Properties>Event log. had mistakenly been updated to what I think is the newest v15 series driver.
So the other day I realized that my 100 series chipset driver v14. Please click hereĀ for more information. If this is not the correct place to post this question please feel free to move to the correct thread.
Microsoft Windows 7 (additional driver required). Some motherboards only provide PCIe x2 connections for the M.2 slot, creating a bottleneck on even the fastest drives. The workload used to rate DWPD may be different from your actual workload, which may vary due to host hardware, software, usage, and storage capacity.
